소녀는 비둘기 샘 비켜

인적 없는 곳에서 살았다

칭찬해 줄 사람 아무도 없고

사랑하는 사람도 없는 그 소녀

 

이끼 낀 바위 틈에 반쯤 가리워진

오랑깨꽃 같이

하늘에 홀로 비치는 

고운 별 같이

 

루시는 남 모르게 살았고

언제 죽는 줄도 몰랐다

이제 소녀는 무덤 속에 고이 잠들었으니

 

아, 세상이 내게는 어찌 달라졌는지!

 

 

'인적 없는 외진 곳에서 소녀는 살았다' - 포엠 루시(Poem Lucy)를 

디바인 코미디(The Divine Comedy)라는 이름으로 작품을 내는

닐 해넌(Neil Hannon)이라는 영국 북아일랜드 출신의 가수가 빌려

1993년도에 노래로 부름.
